Some people don't have problems with a cup or two of coffee a day, but some people do. It is hard to say until you try it. On the Atkins Bullitin Boards they suggest doing a "clean induction" meaning nothing from the non-allowed foods list, just so you know how much metabolic resistance you have. That way if you add back coffee and that makes you stall, then you know it was the caffeine. That being said, if you are very addicted you probably don't want to go on induction and give up coffee in the same week. Cut back to a cup or two.
