debratrachta anderson's Journal, 11 July 2019

Yesterday went and got some magnesium and some potassium supplements and started taking them. Made boneless skinless chicken breasts in the crock pot with some salsa verde and then when done laid a piece of pepper jack cheese on top with a side of fiddleheads. Then I topped that off with a strawberry cheese cake and not keto. Pretty sure I won't be doing that again felt the effects starting within 15 minutes of eating. I am looking forward to the doctor visit this morning.

Thank You babayjo. Feeling fine we were getting established with a new dr. and this was a follow up to that. My husband has slight high blood pressure and me my weight. Plus we both wanted some blood work done. We haven't had insurance for about 5 yrs. So did not go to the doc. only when necessary. If all goes well with are blood work we should not have to go back for 6 months. Fiddleheads are like the morels of the Midwest the are searched for up here in Northern Maine and they go crazy over them. You can google them. They are like the curled up yet stage of ferns and taste like between asparagus and spinach. I like to saute them in some butter with some pepper flakes and then add some garlic. Most people up hear seem to boil them in water like potatoes yuck.
