I have to say, it took me a lot of self talk to get my butt into the gym last night!!!! LOL I went home, not really sure what I wanted to do (from my list of things to do) and kept debating back and forth, all the while knowing I needed to work the exercise in! I decided to finish painting the touch up's in my daughters room. Boy, was that more than I bargained for! Part way through painting, my daughter decided she wanted some water. Of course she's been using the 'big girl's' cups lately so I needed to help her get the water from the fridge dispenser. While I was doing THAT...she wandered off into her bedroom, undetected by me, found the paint brush, dipped it (all the way) in the paint and proceeded to 'help mommy paint'. Yep! White paint all over the carpet....all over the wall.... ~sigh~ I couldn't believe it but did have to laugh even though I was having a COW on the inside! Let me just say, I worked up a good sweat cleaning it all up! HOWEVER! I didn't let that be my excuse NOT to go to the gym! Yep! After I got ALL the paint cleaned up, even out of the carpet, we WENT TO THE GYM! While driving through the parking lot, I kept trying to give myself excuses not to go work out, like "there are a lot of cars here, maybe we should just go home. I bet it's packed inside." That didn't work. My fatsecret angel kept reminding me of my BEACH, so I gave in. I'm proud to say I rode the exercise bike for 20 minutes, even still trying to talk myself out of finishing the 20 minutes. LOL But, I finished my 20 minutes and felt very pleased with myself! Because of all that, I lost 2 of the 2.5 lbs I gained over the weekend. Let's see what Tuesday brings! Bring it ON!
