I had my endoscopy yesterday and the doctor had to stretch a narrowing between my esophagus and stomach some. He explained that the tissue was irritated and had some ulcerative erosion. He wants me to have another endoscopy in 8 weeks to check things with the new medication. He said he may have to dilate the opening between my esophagus and stomach again.

I am not happy with myself right now and I am annoyed greatly by the way my clothing is fitting. I know in my head the weight gain is good but my mind is freaking out. When I put on a pair of pants that were loose and now they fit a touch snug. ugh. That's it! I am done with candy, sweets and fruit. It's time to cut carbs and work on protein and veggies.
138.2 lb Lost so far: 180.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I was so happy to see your gain, and then I read your comment. That is good that your pants are fitting tighter. Think of that as a return to health. Your pants are hugging your new healthy curves. Are you able to get any new clothes that fit more loosely? You are getting closer to your goal. Try not to give up. Clothes come and go, but God only gave you one body. We need to do what we can to nourish that body and keep it healthy. Whether we need to lose weight or gain weight, we all have a common goal of a return to health. Hang in there and please try to rethink things.

Imagine for instance if every pound gained is an extra month of a great healthy life!?!? Worth it. Don’t give up fruit, it has many vitamins that you need, fiber, etc. Change your mind, change your life!! Supporting you in your difficult days!💕💕💕💕💕

I was about to comment on how well you are doing when I read your comments. It must feel like there are two different people living in your head, one saying, "eat, eat, eat, this is good," and the other saying, " oh no, my pants are getting too tight, I have to stop this right now! " So, you know those old cartoons , where a tiny Angel sits on one shoulder and a tiny devil sits on the other shoulder? Well, the angel sitting on your shoulder is the one praising you for eating what you need to eat to regain your health; and that little devil is the one trying to scare you into making poor decisions. Listen to your better angels and continue up the path to better health. And remember, you'll never walk alone. We are all walking together, lifting each other up when we stumble, always holding out a helping hand. 💖🌞💖
