The last few days have been a bit hectic and stressful. I am fighting to get my calories in and am hating myself for the uptick in the scale. I have never liked cake, cookies, candy or sweets really. I got fat by eating to much fried foods, fatty foods, and soda. It's killing me that to even get near my calorie count I am having to eat 12 plus peices of candy, Mississippi mud pie and del taco burritos.. This crap is not good on my body and I hate it. There has to be an easier way to gain weight that's healthy. ugh ugh ugh.
128.2 lb Lost so far: 190.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Do you like cheese? Adding cheese to a dish can really up the calories, I know, because I've been quite shocked by the calorie count of some foods I like. Cream sauce is another one. Either can be added to vegetables or pasta dishes or soups. So that way, you're eating something with positive good value, but adding in something to help you become healthier. Rice, potatoes and pasta topped with a tasty sauce, lots of Thai and Chinese dishes use high calorie sauces over rice. It must be so difficult for you to need to gain weight when you are struggling with a fear of becoming fat again. But beating yourself up, instead of celebrating your successes, is a big downer. Look at you, you gained half a pound! 🌟🌟🌟🏆🏆🏆🌟🌟🌟 Way to go! I celebrate every drop, no matter how small, it is moving me down the path to better health. I'll be happy to celebrate every gain with you, because it is moving you up the path to better health. And that's our goal, isn't it. Different paths, leading to the same goal. Let's celebrate each other's successes!!

Thank you so much. I didn't think about the success of the half a pound when I should be. Your encouraging words mean a lot to me. I need to face the fear and realize that the weight gain is giving me another day of life.
