Yesterday I was on track, when I decided to have a diet coke. Two hours later I wanted to eat even though I had just finished lunch. I believe the artificial sweetner was the cause. I watched Dr Oz yesterday, and he made a statement about junk food. He says your body tells you " ok, that was some calories, but now where is the nutrition and your body will signal to you hungar. Your body is still looking for the vitamin or carb." I think this happens with artificial sweetner, if you only had a diet coke without anything else. Your boky says ok there's the sweet taste but where are the calories. Then signaling your body that it is hungary. This can probabley be avoided by eating something with the diet coke. IE don't use a diet coke to fill you up, plain old water will do better.
164.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 24.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I definitely agree, we think that by eating any food is going to make us feel full, but it doesn't, we have eat specific foods to keep our brain from wanting more and more.
