You're still here so you are doing great. Permanent change takes time. Just check in everyday to stay motivated. I just started again last Thursday, Nov 8, 2012. I'm praying this will be a life style change for me. I keep telling myself this is the way I'm have to eat forever. I'm doing Atkins but along with that I'm trying to stay mentally motivated, I'm reading a book called MADE TO CRAVE by Lysa Terkeurst, and I'm reading my Atkins book everyday. These seem to keep me motivated. I joined a community gym in a suburb, that has a built in swimming pool (indoor since I live in Chicago) and I've met others there that also want to lose weight, so we're trying to support one another, and believe it or not I've been exercising since August 1st which is a first for me. I think we can find support and motivation here, too. I believe motivation is very important. Like when I watch a weight loss show I feel motivated I'm thinking I should record one and watch it for motivation. I also love my mine trampoline, it's called Urban Rebounder, I got it off HSN or QVC. When I can't make it to the pool especially when the weather will change around here I will jog on that. I started at 4 minutes a day and can now do 45 minutes. The pool classes are more fun because other people are there and there is an instructor telling you what to do. There I exercise 2 hours it goes by so quickly and doesn't even hurt. Sure the pool is mostly us older people, and mostly women although there are men and they all seem to stick together it's a blast. You can do it. You've done it before we just have to change our brains to: This is not a diet, it's a lifestyle change. My sister once told me to change one thing at a time. So I started by cutting down on how many times a week I ate pasta, today I rarely eat it or think of it and I used to eat it every day. Best of luck.
