You are absolutely right. Since maintenance is long term, it's harder than losing the weight in the first place. It is hard to say no to the things we love to eat. And yes, maybe one would be okay but it is dangerous. Once upon a time, I had a little dish of ice cream on Mother's Day, fell off the wagon, and didn't get back on (with a lots of false starts) for an entire year. I'm afraid to eat sweets. Last night I did eat 2/3 of a flour tortilla my daughter made because that was what there was to eat, and I was tired and didn't feel the strength to do something else (like I should) and go open a can of tuna or something for me. Don't know the effect yet.

It is hard. Many years ago, I did Jenny Craig and I did very good, 20 years with the same weight. About 6 years ago, I went up 25 pounds. Until now, I am back where I was at 40. It is a life style, very hard to do. I need to go back doing exercising, which I have not been able to do it because I am so tired all the time. I have to do it for me... :) WE CAN DO IT....
