Happy New Year to anyone reading. I hope that in this new year that new things truly do come to you and that you get to take ownership of whatever it is that is meant for you and meant to come to you. Whatever that may be. Weight loss, weight gain, love, health, wealth, that dream job, that dream boy or girl, that dream car or house, that perfect little puppy with the big dreamy eyes staring at you through the window..

I've left this site alone for a while, as I did most things in my life last year. I entered a deep depression again, for most of the same unfortunate reasons, and I lost myself again along with my goals for greatness on the way. It's a new year. I'm a new person. My mental health is in a much better place (for now). Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending. I feel a new beginning coming towards me and I am running to it with open arms!! Yes, my weight went up, but so did my spirit, my self confidence, and my willpower to win. Today is my tomorrow. No one else is gonna go out there and get it for me. It's up to me to shape it, to take control and seize every opportunity to be the best possible version of me. I plan to change a lot of things this year. My weight is just one of them. I know that the power to change will lie in the choices that I make each day. So I will choose to eat well, live well, and be well. Everyday. I'm not sure what I'm doing or if I'll even be doing it right, but you start where you are, you use what you have, and you do what you can. Nothing beats a failure but a try right?

Thank you! It was written while relaxing in a warm bath of bath salts and bubbles. While sipping tea and listening to soothing tunes. Yes, I'm taking the taking care of the new me thing seriously this year. 😄
