slkey's Journal, 21 June 2010

Wow, was this a crazy weekend! Did well with food during the day on Friday, though I didn't count calories. We went bowling Friday night, and I did not resist the super-greasy, overly ketchupped bowling alley fries. It was down hill from there. The next day, I didn't eat much of breakfast, lunch consisted of a Sausage wrap from a carnival, and dinner was mostly alcohol-related because it's hard to hold on to food at a concert. To top it off, we ate fried chicken from Whataburger afterward. Then there was Sunday... It was Father's Day (Happy Father's Day everybody!) and I went with my family on a picnic/river day. This would normally be a good thing (sandwiches, exercise, etc.), but the day started with donuts, moved on to hot cheetoes, and ended with a hot fudge sundae. I only comfort myself with the fact that the roast beef sandwich was fat free, that I drank tons of water, and that I had a healthy meal when I got home for dinner. Ah well, you win some, you lose some.
