I have been working out like crazy , loss of inches but not on the scale much yet !
193.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 53.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

If you are losing inches, you are losing fat. Muscle weighs more, but takes up a lot less space so you are building up some muscle. Muscle also requires a lot more calories for your body to maintain, so that helps with weight loss. Keep working and the scale will drop, but your are succeeding excellently with what you are doing. Way to go!!

That was my story, too! geo99 is absolutely correct. Another thing to consider is when you first start developing muscle, it also seems to hang on to water. The inches are important - that means you're losing fat and not muscle. Women our age can't afford to lose muscle! Best of luck to you!
