So the exercising for at least 20 minutes a day thing didn't happen. I am thinking a chart is in order. I seem to do better when I am actually tracking things by hand. I guess I will try that this week. Maybe I can earn that nail polish.

Daily goals of exercise are hard for me because if I miss a day, I feel like a failure, and that's a bad start to the next day. If you're having problems going 20 minutes every day, try 40 minutes 3 or 4 days a week. Figure out which days work best, and which times work best, and treat the exercise like an appointment with yourself -- an appointment you have to keep -- until you build a habit. Soon, your body will crave the exercise.

I did it for two weeks and I found I got the same feeling for exercise that I used to get for food... it really works!

The thing is, I like exercise. I just have a hard time finding the time to do it. I keep telling myself that I will just take a faster shower and then walk the dog, but that faster shower just isn't going to happen realistically at 5 am.
JazzyJogger: That is a good idea, but I seem to be more motivated if I exercised the day before.
