not sure what prompted me to step on the scale this morning, as i usually weigh in on fridays. but i was both surprised and happy to see the very modest loss. because lately it seems anytime i step on the scale as a whim, my weight has gone up a few pounds (i know fluctuations happen and can be due to all sorts of things, but it's still depressing). i would be excited if all my fluctuations from now on were below the 180 mark, then i'd feel like i made some progress...

anyway, am also surprised because I am so due for TOM any day now...

beach countdown: 6.5 weeks. oh man, i'd love to be under 170 by then, which means i need to speed this up somehow, because 1/2lb a week isn't going to cut it.
178.4 lb Lost so far: 11.6 lb.    Still to go: 28.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You and me both - TOM usually comes on the 8th so any time now. I hope I don't gain but if I do I'm sure it will be just water. Glad to see you lost a little. I bet you will be under 170 in 6.5 weeks if not sooner.

thank you!!! it means the world to me to have support, and know other people are out there fighting the same fight. positivity is not my strong suit, so i truly appreciate it all out there on the interwebs :)
