Assuming you can stand, one physician said the way to begin getting more "exercise" is to stand for 5 minutes every waking hour. You could probably incorporate chair yoga too, and find free videos for that online. Losing weight is 90% diet, so it's still possible to lose consistently without lots of exercise.
