gaining 6.5 lb a week

gained a lot of muscle size looking like John Abraham in a T-shirt...not kidding... waist size is also down as I am able to fit into pants I bought last year in May before I ballooned. why am I gaining weight?? water retention is the main issue. have to focus on sleeping in the dark which I don't do...
