This Paradox diet is the ONLY plan that has worked easily for me. The Atkins diet helped me lose but I was miserable. I like the food on the Paradox diet and don’t have to miss out on breads and sweets. The biggest drawbacks are that the food can be more expensive and prepared foods are not readily available. So, i end up cooking/preparing more meals at home. Restaurant eating is a little tricky but generally I can find meat/fish and a salad on most menus. I do love corn and thought giving it up would be hard but it wasn’t - so far. It has been 2 months, I have dropped 15 pounds, my arthritis inflammation is gone, stomach pain is gone (when I don’t cheat) and I just generally feel better. My 3 month check with the doc in a few weeks will really determine if this is working.
143.0 lb Lost so far: 3.6 lb.    Still to go: 18.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
