Easter resulted in much eating of chocolate :)

Still trying to focus on eating healthy, nutritious, natural, low-fat foods rather than processed junk (rather than focusing on limiting calories per se). But it's a hard task since some of the junk is just so tempting!

Dr. said a reasonable weight gain is 0.5 lbs per week for the first 20 weeks of pregnancy, and then 1 lb per week for the second 20 weeks. Of the 30 lb gained, only a portion is the actual baby's weight while the rest goes to increased blood volume, necessary fat stores, building up milk, and many other factors. So far, this estimate says that I'm basically within the average since 25 weeks (as of Wednesday) = 15 lbs and I've gained about 12 lbs since my lowest weight of 208 lbs.

My goal is to gain a "healthy" amount and return to my pre-pregnancy weight within 3-months of Morgan's birth. I'm planning to follow Weight Watcher's "nursing moms" diet plan as soon as the Dr says it's ok, and I think that will be a big help.
220.0 lb Lost so far: 55.0 lb.    Still to go: 60.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.
gaining 1.0 lb a week

:D Way to go on the healty snacks. One day when I'm less of a stress puppy - we should go on a healthy soup making bonanza and freeze lots for easy healthy lunches.
