I didn't hit my weight goal and I have no one to blame for that but me.
My goal was 180 by Feb 1st...so I have now set a new goal to get my butt in gear...175 on Feb 14th...sigh
I thought that I've been doing induction, when in fact, I really haven't been following the rules!!! I took Sara ray's advice and went back to the basics.
I have stayed on my diet, but after re-reading all the rules, I have figured out what I was doing wrong. I was wondering why I lost weight so much quicker the first time on Aktins!!!
First, I was eating WAY too much cheese!!! Second, I was eating peanut butter... Third, I always make a big thing of soup at the beginning of the week, so that I have a quick, easy, "legal", hot meal that I just have to heat up. I realized that here lately, instead of making beef vegetable or chicken vegetable, I have been making creamy, cheesy soups. So I have been going over my cream allowance! I mean WAY over! Fourth, I have been eating Atkins Endulgence bars daily and they are not intended for induction. Fifth, I have been drinking WAY too much diet soda.
Sixth: I haven't been eating enough veggies!!! 12-15 carbs a day should come from veggies!
Now that I have found the problems, I have a plan to fix them.
1st- I can have cheese once a day...an ounce at most.
2nd- No peanut butter
3rd- No creamy, cheesy soups for the time being...I will stick to making a big pot of beef/chicken veg soup
4th- NO candy bars!!! If I want something sweet, I will have a sugar free jello with a bit of whipped cream!
5th- NO diet sodas. I will only drink water at work and will allow myself to drink Crystal light ONCE a day...
6th- I eat a serving of veggies with EVERY meal except breakfast. If this does not satisfy the 12-15 carbs, then,I will eat a veggie snack
Does anybody see any holes in my plan? Please let me know. Sorry to be so long winded, but I had to organize my thoughts some way.
I'm going to make these changes and continue until 2 weeks from Monday and I'll let you guys know how it goes!!!
I really hope that I can make these changes with ease...and get some amazing results back...
