Today is July 1 2012. Day one....

I've fallen off the beaten path of loosing weight. Today is my day to not only get back on track but to really kick it up a notch or two. After having a long discussion with a friend last night I realized that I don't want to have to worry about my weight and food for the rest of my life. Therefore I have to endeavor to achieve a total lifestyle change to make this an accomplishment. I joined another challenge that starts tomorrow. It is to exercise at least 30 minutes for 6 days a week. I want to have better health for myself and my family, and this is one way to acheive these goals. It's not just the number on the scale that is important. It's all the numbers combined. My cholesterol number, my heart rate number, my weight number, my caloric intake number and so on. All these numbers combined total up to what I do for or against myself everyday. I can't keep complaining if I don't make the effort to not go to a fast food restaurant. I must cook more meals at home, and believe it or not, you will tend to lose your cooking skills if you don't use them. (lol) Good luck to us all and may God be with us each day as we make an effort to live the long life He has promised us.

Hello Lady.. How are you doing over there? I want to make sure you are still on the wagon or if I have to tie a rope around you to keep you at least walking close to it. You can do this lady!
