My family is still plotting against me. I told hubby today-‘I can’t wait until you start medifast again, I’ll beg to go out and then bring home Pizza’. I have in with the condition that we had to visit the gym first! I find that if I go after dinner then I’m sluggish & if I go before then I’m excited about the food I’ll eat and end up doing more.

Tonight I had 1600 calories!! I only ate half my meal! They couldn’t give me nutritional info as it’s a mom and pop Mexican place so I googled based on ingredients and approximate amounts. The food was worth it but I ate the same amount of calories today that I was a month ago! Yet I ate very little today before dinner :/. I’d already decided it was a cheat day. My idea of a cheat day was the 4 cookies @ 340 calories lol.

They are getting my 3 year old to beg me now. Says I never take her out anymore and I feel guilty that the fam has to ‘diet’ too when they don’t want the lifestyle change for themselves.

Aigh- when spring break is over maybe they’ll be happier since hubby gets to eat lunch out again and kids get school lunches 4 days a week. I can stick to my 1200 better then!

I feel your pain on the family dieting guilt. I have an almost 3 yr old and a husband with a body builder physique. He requires sooooooo many calories to keep his build. So it makes it hard for me to cook enough calorie dense foods to feed him and diet food to feed me then theres a toddler that eats one day and won't the next lol. It's like a cooking game show and I'm the chef in the hot seat.

Yes! My 3yo will eat anything but lately she’s eating as much as my 9yo! Normally she eats like a bird. My 12 yo eats more than me now. Hubby is very large framed and 6’. He lost 30-40 lb in one month on medifast and that’s with eating out 2-3 times and once a week earring a normal big meal. He got too weak sticking to 800-1200 calories. Brags how he works out less but burns more calories than me and still eats 4x what I do. Ugh men! Lol. It’s a good thing I like cooking because I’ve been making 2-3 meals at every mealtime. And it’s not so bad that the kids want to eat my food because it’s healthy but they need to learn portion control. One large tub of cottage cheese should last a few days not one meal lol.
