i have never done this "online journal" thing, but why not. if nothing else, it may be another way of keeping my hands busy so that i don't binge at night -- which seems to be the major problem. i am generally good during the day. but after the night settles in i become a monster and want to eat everything in sight ... and i do.
but not anymore. this time i will stick to a good plan, a doable plan and i will not let go. good luck to me. and if anyone is reading: good luck to you too.

Good luck with the late night plan. I have yet to find a secret to keep me from wanting to snack at night. I use my boyfriend as support but it is still hard. Good luck and if you find a secret, let me know.

Some people have found that by eating a better breakfast in the morning (or just eating breakfast if they normally don't) and having desert after dinner clears up the late night cravings. I don't know what your eating habits are like, but that may be something you can try.

thank you for responding and making suggestions! actually what i did today (keeping with the south beach principles was to eat lots of vegetables -- 2.5 cups to be exact) for dinner and so far (it is 11 pm) i am holding fine with a jell-o sugar free pudding cup (60 cals) and 10 pistachios. so far so good : ))))
