Teddy's Journal, 13 July 2007

My weight seems to vary within the day by about 3-4 pounds, or 2% of my total weight. Our scale is not very accurate (reports only single pound increments), so I am not really sure how much it is actually varying. Yesterday I was 165 at my lightest (a.m. first thing) and today I was 164 at the same time of day. I have been trying to report the middle of the daily range as my actual weight, while makeing sure to include weight from immediately after dinner. But I am not sure about this overall strategy. Any thoughts?

Pick a time of day to weigh, and stick with it. First thing in the morning before you eat is best, but pick a time that you can stick to each time you weigh in. Once you've picked a time, don't even look at the scale inbetween! :)
