OK, so I've been away for a couple of weeks and I'm up by 2 kg. However hard I try, I never manage to even stay the same let alone lose a bit when I'm away from home. Mind you alcohol did play quite a part! I've got all the firsts over now. We had a celebratory meal and raised a glass (or three) on his birthday. Coming home to an empty house was a bit demoralizing but a bit of sunshine soon cured that. It rained every day while I was away. Oh well, back to the grindstone and to catch up on journals.....
