And I am back!

Well, I am trying to be back. LOL! Work has been crazy and home, although it is settling down, has been too. I haven't been tracking my calories or going to the gym for two weeks now. I haven't gained anything, but I sure haven't lost anything either. Of course, I had multiple excuses why I didn't go: a horrible sunburn on my back and shoulders, courtesy of a 6 mile hike/lake day that made me not want to wear a shirt. A new tattoo on my wrist that is still fresh and painful. Too sleepy, etc.

We have been trying to be more active though. Disc golfing and hiking... not as much as I would like, but more than we had been previously. At this point, I am just trying to spend as much time outside as possible. It's too pretty outside not to. I started back today, logging all of my food and will hit the gym tomorrow, no matter what. I think I am sleeping too much and it is making me more tired. Tonight, I will probably go over my RDI because I am bbq'ing burgers but I am shooting to be back where I need to be by the end of the week.

Money is tight right now since we are just getting caught up on bills with the fiance's delay in unemployment benefits. This means at least for the next few weeks we will not be going out to eat or partying. I am pretty stoked about that. Eating out and drinking are my biggest downfalls.

My birthday is in 6 days and I have decided that I want to go on an all day hike where we can lounge by the river/lake/whatever, take a picnic and just relax. I am hoping that we can squeeze it in this weekend since this is Bug's weekend with her dad. She isn't too much for hiking or walking long distance and 43 pounds of extra weight on a hike in 90 degree weather may kill me!

I have definitely hit a "no motivation" ditch and need to climb out of it.

You can do it! A hike sounds great, I wish we had some good places to hike here, but no, just flat ground. You'll get out of that ditch soon enough, just getting back on here is a start. Good luck!!
