Johanne's Journal, 19 April 2012

It's Thursday and I've lost track of time.

I'm seeing my cardiologist Monday morning to see exactly what I can expect, what I may safely do or not do and if there's anything I can do to alleviate the situation. I have a long list of questions . . . one of them being if I should have nitro on me as well as aspirin. I haven't felt really well since the heart attack and don't know whether it's residuals from the surgery, psychosomatic, or real. I need to get it all sorted out. Hopefully, I can get some concrete answers, be they good or bad. I feel like I have a cloud hanging over me.

On the up side, it's been such a beautiful, early spring. I'm loving being out of doors. I've moved all of my herbs outside, planted some heirloom tomatoes that are already setting buds and bought new cushions and a cover for my swing so I can sit out and enjoy the lovely air. The yard, like my house needs lots of loving care. I won't be catching up until after my cardiology appt. I do have alligator loppers in my Amazon cart for next month. Supposedly, even a little old 70 year old can handle them. We'll see. LOL!

I'm off to work, a little at a time, on the house. I can't handle the extreme clutter any more. The only things that are under control are the trash (it's all contained and mostly out) and the laundry (because I have an excess of lovely drawers and shelves so it's easy to put it away). I gave away ALL of my over sized clothes, so I'm not dealing with hoarding, thankfully, just neglect.

I have Harry Potter queued in the DVD player for sound and company when I take breaks. I'm ready to get going.

Everyone have a fantastic day!

Oh, Johanne, I do hope you can sort this all out. I imagine the gardening must help. Don't overwork yourself with the cleaning. If you saw my place, you'd think clutter was your friend. Have a great day, BLS.
