DairyKing's Journal, 10 April 2012

Stayed up till 10:30 last night. I was wondering whether I would be able to drag myself out of bed this morning for a workout. Yay, I did! Up at 4 and ran 3 1/4 miles. Determined to bring myself out of this comfort zone I have been in. Ate under 1500 calories yesterday, and going to try and do it for a few more days to shock my body into weight loss again. I was prepared to cook up some steaks last night, but DW wanted to order out - she had a craving for a tenderloin. I couldn't think of anything I could order out that wouldn't throw me out of whack, so I ordered a tenderloin myself and gave the bread to the dog. He was appreciative, and I ate tenderloin, onions, tomato, pickle and lettuce - no sides. I was pretty proud of myself. Stayed out of the kitchen, and away from all temptation.
DW slept like a baby last night. The little ones have to stay away for a while and visitors are supposed to wear a mask when they come, or she will. Either way, I doubt it will last. I am sure this won't be our last rendevous with the ER folks.

Well done for resisting temptation.... Always difficult when ordering take out. I have to say I am not keen - never sure what is in them.... At least the dog was happy too LOL careful you don't make him fat LOL... I can quite understand you going with DW "fancy", she needs some treats :-). under 1500 calories - well done :-)

So sorry to hear that wifey has been from appointments to ER. Glad to hear she is doing better now. Way to go on getting up for a 3+ mile run off minimum sleep. And staying under your RDI...Kudos to you. It gets harder and harder the more you run and the less you sleep. You are a trooper. P.S. Looks like your boy needs a wax and pedi. lol

Great job, DK, on the exercise and on the food for you AND the food for the dog. I was expecting that your wife would want some Asian takeout for dinner. Glad that she slept well. I'm sure you both needed it. You are definitely a trooper. Have a blessed day.
