This morning I woke up with the intention to measure everything I put into my mouth today. I did well until the popcorn. I ate 1/2 the bag and then realized that I was supposed to measure my food. Thankfully, my kids came and asked if they could have some... I was done.

After they where done with the snack. I decided that we all needed a good 3 mile power walk. About a 1 1/2 miles into it we where surrounded by dark clouds, loud claps of thunder and lightening strikes. So we ran it home. My 11 year old did great. The nine year old was on his bike. Yep. The metal one! :)

It felt great to run again but due to my injury running is off limits until I get clearance. As soon as I started I realized I was going to pay for it later, lots of icing tonight!!

Personally, I think it was worth the extra calories burned!
