Here I go again, I can't seem to get my diet under control so I am attempting to make up my own lower cal diet that will allow me to eat less calories but not limit my food, I am using tips and tricks from every plan at my disposal including Hungry Gir, WW and even low carbing plans.
Atkins gave me too many problems and I think it works better for younger women, I had a lot of leg cramps and pain and was too constipated on it. but the lack of cravings was great!! and I didn't lose any weight on it and after 2 and 1/2 months that's just not making me a happy camper.

Yeah, some on Atkins have problems with constipation and leg cramps. It's almost always from not getting enough salt, water, fiber and fat. Eating low carb actually causes people to lose sodium and the extra water weight associated with it. That's why it such a good choice for those with high blood pressure and diabetes. The answer is to eat enough sodium and calcium, and drink enough water to prevent cramps, and to make sure we get enough fats and fiber to keep the intestines functioning smoothly. I pray you find success with your chosen path! AMEN!
