Up at 4:00 again this morning. I have to quit getting up so late; I've hardly got time to get the job done and get ready for work. Did 30 minutes on the elliptical, without programming in any additional resistance. Worked up a good sweat. I'm going to try to get aerobics in every day, whether I run or not. I know I'm not getting enough strength training in, and I can't wait to get the Endless Pool set up so I can break up some of the monotony. There's some great bike riding weather coming up also, so that will help.
I've got an older universal gym set that I have to weld back together, and then figure out where all the cables go. Once I do that, it won't be long be before I look like Rocky. In the meantime, it's the pullup bar hanging in the doorway, along with situps and pushups. Those are fine - just not all that exciting - and not all that motivating. But hey; if this was easy, we'd all be slim, trim and fit.

Look at the slim profile pic. Keep up the great work. Love the scit. I feel the way that man looks, lol. I can't believe 4 am is late for you while 5:30 is early for me. That is dedication! I'm with you on changing up workouts in Spring in summer to incorporate the beautiful weather. Have a great day Rocky ;)

I like your theory, but I'd rather be mostly happy for 350,400 hours a year than a cranky B for that extra 43,800. :) I need my sleep!! And love the new pic!

I love the picture. I was never one to get up in the morning to workout. I do it after work.

Had to correct a couple of things here; used hours instead of minutes. Here's the way this works. If you sleep 8 hours a day, that means you have 16 waking hours in a day. That's 350,400 waking minutes in a year. If I only sleep 6 hours in a night, I have an additional 120 minutes a day, or 43,800 minutes a year of awake time. If I divide 350,400 by 43,800, you can readily see that for every 8 years I live, I add an additional year of living life. It is really very simple. :)

The only time I get up at that hour is because I can't sleep..But kuddo's to you buddy...:O)
