I decided to try to be a joiner.

I am not much of an online cheer leader. More of a silent watcher from the sidelines. I think positive thoughts but won't type them.

Yet, maybe I need more cheer leaders and involvement for my own weight loss goals. The saying "you have to give in order to receive" has struck a note with me.

I am going to try to type the support I think...I am going to try to emotionally invest with strangers in order to keep myself invested.

I know it sounds quite self serving. But I can only change myself, and that is my goal.

If I start to annoy, let me know and I will tone it down!

Well welcome :) I love this site! Good advice and great buddies. I love how involved they are with my journey. They inspire, motivate, and hold me accountable. When I need to vent they are there, they support me in my blunders and congratulate my victories... not matter how small and insignificant they may be. So call us cheer leaders if you will but I refer to this site as my support group. They are always there for me. It's always nice to have a new buddy! So welcome and great job with the exercise! Keep it up!

Thanks! I realy do appreciate that. I need a support group. You journey is inspiring. I love yoga too. I miss being bendy. LOL

welcome! thanks for the support! I think it's also just about being mindful - and having other people going through the same thing that you can talk to, even online, helps you keep your head in the game. Not that it's a game. But you know what I mean?
