I had started at 280 a little while ago and got down to 275.5 and then the scale stalled (due to health problems)and I got a little discouraged. I was still on program though even if I wasn't losing. Then my husband came home. My husband works out of town... he works 20 days and then comes home for 7. I was really good to begin with but then all the eating out and eating on the run got to me and I went off program. When I joined this site I was up to 279 but I somehow overwrote that amount with my first weigh in. I am currently only 1 lb over what I was before so I am happy. I hate re-losing weight! These whole 10 pounds are already ones that need to be re-lost.

In January I started losing weight and I lost 30 lbs and was down to 270. My weight loss efforts stalled at 270. My disease flared up in May (I have Lupus) and I had to be put on a large dose of prednisone (prednsisone makes you gain weight). I gained back 10 pounds. Now I am back and I really want to get down to my goal weight. I know I can do it. I did it before!

In 2000-2001 I lost over 100 lbs and maintained it for over a year. I was diagnosed with Lupus and the disease got progressively worse and I was placed on more medications and had to go on many runs of prednisone so the weight crept back on and before I knew it I was back to my old weight :(

I did it before on weight watchers points plan.... I did it at home by myself and that is how I am doing it this time as well. I live in a small town and the meetings here are not very good so I prefer to do it on my own. I find support online through sites like these and forums :)
