Baileyrose85's Journal, 27 February 2012

Well the scale didn't hate me too much this morning. Still a few pounds up from Saturday, but not as bad as last weekend, so I am thinking it must be water weight. This next weekend should be good though. The bad influence, I mean my fiance will be in Vegas for a bachelor party and I will be on my own with my mini me. That means healthy meals and lots of time to work out and clean and reorganize the house. I should be a very happy person by the time he gets home on Sunday, especially if I can squeeze in a girls night out one of those nights. On another note, I ran a full mile today. 13 minutes, 19 seconds. I don't think I have ever done that before. I was never a runner, even at my physical best. As long as my determination and motivation stay at this level, I will reach far beyond my goals :)

Awesome job! I was never a runner either and I'm beginning to really enjoy it. I hope you start to love it to. A mile is a great start! Keep it up girl!

I am impressed, even when I was younger I never thought to run a mile. Hopefully you can get your exercise up to the point where that bad influence won't mess up your weigh in.

Awesome!! Keep that walking going!! I too have a desk job and finding the time is awful. but I gotta do it. I have 2 girls, 13 and 3, and while the Biggun sees the benefits of the healthful eating, the young'n sees sweets and goes berzerk. She's the bigger sweet-tooth, even though big sissy is dessert obsessed. She just doesn't eat them... she wants to cook them! LOL We don't keep soda in the house ordinarily, as hub and I are both off of it, so they almost never get it. We keep the juice to a min, and give choice of water or milk. But it is tough! Keep going. Your lil chick will see how you're eating, how you're finding time to get moving. She will get it...
