hello everyone!, I just signed up to the site yesterday because I need to get myself back on track. I started getting heavy when I was 7, started dieting when I was 8, because I was the kid who always got picked on, by age 18 I had been on countless diets and nothing ever worked., I was 175 pounds 18 years old 4 foot 10.5 inches tall and having the family back on both sides of being heavy. at age 20 I had my daughter and through my entire pregnancy only gained 10 pounds but after delivery I went on the Depo Provera shot and from my tolerable 175/185 pounds I went up to 248 I had sometime when I would lose a couple of pounds but never for very long, have have gym memberships but no one to show me what to do or how to achieve my goals of dropping weight, so over the years my latest actually came down to about 220 but that was after years of dieting years of trying and I needed a kick-start into my rear end so April 18th of 2016 I had a vertical sleeve gastrectomy also known as a bariatric sleeve performed, for those who don't know that's when you go in for a bariatric surgery and the surgeon reshapes your stomach to the size of a plantain banana and that is the extent of what you're able to eat- there is no going back there is no reversing this because they remove the remainder of your stomach all you're left with is that plantains size stomach. I did pretty well fairly quickly my pre-surgical weight was 219 and from April until October I lost 53 pounds and then it stopped.., I've been an ass all since October and with winter it didn't really help me any and as soon as the weather is good enough I plan to get back on my bike and work my tail off. I won't lie I also lost my way with proper eating, my water intake and my protein shakes, as it is called my surgiversary is coming on April 18th and I would like to be at 140 before then I don't think is 13 pound weight loss from now until April 18th is impossible I just have to get off my rear end and do it I have to do to make this happen
