i have a feeling my scale is a bad scale...between the abuse it has suffered with my kids jumping on it...i think i may not be getting accurate results when i step up on it. so i know how i am going to measure my progress...its called trying on my jeans that have become extremely too small for me that i used to be able to wear...when they become easier to put on...then i know i am making the progress :-)

I have two dead scales in my bathroom. I have to buy a new one every 3 months or so. Target and wal-mart scales have a short life span, but the digital readout type is the easiest when you have to record the numbers in your journal.
