Gained 2.5 lbs. since yesterday morning! OMG! I don't even remember being at the party. LOL. Just one of the many joys of weighing in every day. Yes; it was a shock; I was actually looking for about 222.0 this morning. Believe it or not, this is why I weigh-in everyday. I am documenting my journey on a daily basis because I want my FS friends to know that, even with men, and even when we are exercising on a regular basis, and staying well-within our RDI, there are still major fluctuations in weight. It is easy for people to get discouraged when they've done everything right, and then, "Whoa, where did that come from?!" Unless you're a Sumo wrestler, it is very unlikely that you could gain 2.5 lbs in one day. So, I'm taking a deep breath; I'm not going to toss in the towell, eat moderately today, and hope for one massive BM! LOL!
Ran for 30 minutes this morning. It's a great feeling, knowing that it isn't as uncomfortable for me to run 30 continuous minutes, as it was to run 2 continuous minutes when I started. I almost went outside to run this morning. It was 26F and I talked myself out of it; I will start up doing my running outside, as soon as I feel I can go out the door running, and generate some body heat fairly quicly.

Great attitude. You are stronger than me. I gave up weighing in daily for that exact reason. Weekly weigh ins keep me from going crazy with the fluctuation. Awesome job on the continuous 30 min runs. You are a mad man. Are you entering a race sometime soon. You should, you'd do great. I do the Cooper River Bridge Run every year. I need to get my butt in gear for it soon! I do a slow jog but the biggest reason I do it is b/c it is SO much fun. I love it!!

I think I'm going to take it slow. Even though I'm running for 30 continuous minutes, I'm only doing a couple miles. I've overdone this in the past, and come to know that building a good solid base is more important than getting that first race. I want to gradually increase my distance at the same pace for the next couple months, and then begin to schedule in some speed workouts when I have been running steady for a couple months. It's nice going to work in the morning refreshed - instead of limping in pain. :) - How many of you believe in telekinesis? Raise my hand...

Still ... I loathe fluctuations!! LOL!!! You would think I would be used to them by now ... since I've been tracking my weight for such a long time but I'm not. They don't typically upset me as much as they used to but still ... damn annoying!! Glad you are in such fine spirits!!!

Dk .... you do crack me up. I like the fact you make jokes at the weight gain and also know that "massive BM" you were hoping for, wasn't a joke. LMAO!
