Okay here is a weird one for you all... why am I so much sleepier after having a hot chocolate with my lunch? I am much more awake without it - I am caffiene sensitive - surely that should make me more awake? LOL

Oh the joys of a backwards body!

Fireworks tonight for Guy Fawkes. Hoping most will be over by the time we go to bed - yay for earplugs!!

Still doing the letpin reset, and then will be eating primal. With dairy of course!

Fewer quakes means I am getting more work done! Pity about the housework (or lack of it LOL ) though!

Now, that made me curious too and I goggled it. Was not really much to find about it, at least not too much scientific. I thought this article was kind of interesting: http://scienceline.org/2006/10/ask-klein-milk/

Maybe it's just psychological - soup makes me tired. I only drink soup when I am sick. Maybe you normally drink hot chocolate late at night and therefore your body is ready for bed. Does it have a lot of caffeine - b/c I have had it at night and it does not keep up, like a soda or coffee in the afternoon would??

Jozette - it is water, cream, cocoa and some stevia drops - so maybe it is placebo or the warmth like that article says. I haven't had milk for well over a year now.

Ncnole that is interesting about the soup. I only drink cocoa during the day just in case it keeps me awake at night. I use 1 tsp cocoa - will have to check the caffiene amounts.

Squiggs, it does the same to me...I always attributed it to the warmth, and the milk...warm milk has been given to children when they have trouble falling to sleep for ages. I used to give it to my boys, with a touch of vanilla. Have a great Guy Fawkes, and enjoy your weekend...glad the earth has settled down for you! Hugs and love my dear friend!
