So, my husband and I went out for our anniversary last night. Which I prepped for by getting a sleepover for the kids at their grandmother's house, shaving my legs (!!!) and eating like a bird beforehand. Good thing I did too, because the food at the restaurant was delicious, dessert (caramel custard) was tiny and so amazing, and the salmon and asparagus were good (the salmon was a bit underdone in the middle), and the bruschetta with cheese, pesto and tomatoes was to die for... so my weight is exactly where it was yesterday, which is actually a relief, because I was super concerned I'd have gained 3 or 4 pounds... It was such good food, and I did come home afterwards and... exercise... vigorously.... which I think must have helped reboot my metabolism :)
