BrandyRelaxing's Journal, 29 September 2011

So I went to the doctor yesterday to get a new prescription for birth control, and they took my bloodpressure. And I've never really paid much attention to it, except that when I was 17-18 it was the high end of normal, and lately they've been saying it was fine. Whatever, I haven't had to be on meds, so it was never a worry. So I actually looked at the number yesterday and it was 121/80... the nurse said 120/80 was ideal! Shocker, but I guess all the healthier eating and exercise has truly made a difference. I know a lot of people on here have had BP challenges and after getting fit, it goes away, so it seems like exercise is the key.

She did say off my last blood tests, my HDL (good cholesterol) was a bit low, so I should work to improve that, and basically, exercise and eating healthy (including the omegas in fish), so that's not too hard, and as I continue to lose weight, I am hoping it will happen naturally.

I also found an article online that talks about when you're craving something, what your body really wants, and then what healthy foods include it. I'm not sure how true it is, but I am going to try the one on Chocolate, because it's my nemesis!

Anyways, off to a pension report release for work and then back to the office for the day.
