Easter came and went with little notice. Family get together on Saturday was pleasant, but an eating disaster for me. Fried chicken. Little smokies in BBQ sauce (yak!). Potato and macaroni salad. Best thing was the 7 layer dip and my choclate dipped-strawberries - but I had to take it easy on those. Measured portions. Good call for me.

Sadly, I also had two cupcakes. I also caved and ordered pizza that night for dinner, but I kept myself in check by eating broiled chicken. And cheese bread. OK. Bad for the cheese bread. Need to give that up, but it is hard and far easier said than done.

Went to the grocery store on Sunday to get Dylan set up with smoothie materials. Got myself a lot of salad. Kept my breakfast calories in check with some good choices on entrees - I love a hot breakfast. Stayed away from hockey puck du jour entrees for lunch. A lot of sodium and they aren't really satisfying. I am sticking with a meat/salad for lunch all week. Hopefully, that will really help keep the calories under control.

So, another week of being good. Great for me. Now off to the gym before the window slides away and I can't sneak it in!
