I am having some conflict with myself right now.
I keep setting my weight goals down by 10lb increments each time I reach a goal, with my final goal being between 135-145. A lot of people have their goal weights set to thrive final goal weight and I'm not sure which way I would rather do it.
I feel like doing the latter would discourage me if the bar stayed in the red so long but I don't know.

I set my initial goal to 50 pounds because 75 pounds seemed like way to much to think about. I'm really close to the 50 pounds now, but it has taken forever. That got frustrating at times. I think I wish I had started with something pretty significant but smaller, maybe like 20 pounds. You should do whatever works for you, and change it around if you need to in order to figure out what's most motivating over time. Cool photo!

Awww---do whatever works best for you! You have done well so far so do not worry about the goal - take it one day, and one meal at a time, You will get there!

I have been thinking that now that I have been with the program fork a while I might increase my goal a little each time until I hit my final weight. So say I hit this 10lb goal, next I would do 15lb, then 20lb etc so that while the goal is gradually increasing I'll be working up to bigger numbers and the time it takes to hit each one won't seem as big

It's one of those "know yourself" kinds of things. Setting goals in increments can give you a great sense of accomplishment and be very motivating. This time I'm setting mine a little bigger because I have an upcoming event I want to look my best for. I could stand to lose a little more than my goal, but it is a reasonable one for the time frame.
