Mirej's Journal, 27 October 2009

The workout at the gym yesterday was good. My weight jumped up by 2 lbs... but I know the reason and I know it will go down eventually. It does not make me happy to see that number, but that's how it's been happening since the beginning and I should not be worried.

I am exhausted, mostly because of gym and then going to bed late... and cooking every day with my bf... it takes a lot of time and energy to prepare everything and to live a healthy lifestyle, BUT it is manageable and worth it!

I think once I achieve my goal weight of 135 lbs, once again, I will push my goal weight down to 130 lbs, just to keep me going and to stay in shape. If my mentality is set to achieve a goal I will work harder, if my goal is achieved I might just take it for granted and go in the wrong direction.

My bf is doing well too, losing some weight and is happier since we restarted gym, he is motivated and it feels good to be together and so positive... :)

So, all in all... Life is Good...

Hey Mimi! yes, I see we are on the same page...it's hard to explain, I don't want to lose more weight, but I want to see some changes on my body, and the first step to make those changes was to set a new goal... I'm glad to see your workouts are going well for you and your BF. definitely a good move to cook your own food!

Just try to keep your exercise *sustainable,* because if you overdo it and succeed at losing weight, when you stop, you might just shoot up again. Strive for a good balance rather than a marathon weight loss program. The reason I mention it is that I've fallen into that situation more than once. It's also easy to hurt yourself. You probably know all of this already though since it's just common sense (uncommon these days). Keep up the good work mirej, you look great.

Hey Anne, I know it's hard to explain when we are seeking a change but don't know how to measure it or where to start from. I would suggest you to take some pics of the body parts you want improved... and every month with the changes take a newer pic of the same body part... then you will see a change. I did it like that and that motivates me more than the numbers on my scale!! Good luck to you hunni!
