Increase Metabolism
Decrease Caloric Intake
4-6 Daily Meals
Avoid High Sodium Foods
Eliminate "bad" fats and processed foods
Fitness via weight training. (Knee surgery 12OCT11)


Food Intake Plan:

Modified Mediterranean Diet

High Protein - minimum 30g per meal
-Chicken breast
-Salmon, Tuna
-Turkey
-Eggs

High Fiber - 38g per day
-Rolled Oats
-Bran Cereal
-Fruits
-Veggies

Complex Carbs - 200-300g per day
-Whole Grains
--Rolled Oats
--Bran Cereal

Limited Unsaturated Fats
-Fish
-EVOO
-Nuts
--Almonds
--Cashews
--Walnuts

Misc
-Soy Milk
-Non-Fat Yogurt
-Hummus


8-12 8oz glasses of water daily
vitamin b6, b12, d
300mg omega 3
calcium
