231.6lbs
230.2lbs
1.4lb gain in six days.
On the surface, it might appear as a gain, but I had to weigh in quickly with sneakers, jeans belt and sweatshirt on instead of as I usually do...
(Barefoot sweatpants and only a T-shirt)...
Not too worried about it, and was just curious rather than monitoring....
Bigger more pressing issues at hand.
You would think that having tended to my obligations all my life, that I'd be allowed to enjoy the retirement that I worked for since I was seventeen...
Nope.
Same ]&_#@(!? thing every day...
Not even something different each day like other people....
Same #@$_&+! thing every $#@&+(! day!
⚖️ 📈 🤔👟👖👕
📆😡
231.6 lb Lost so far: 63.4 lb.    Still to go: 36.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 1.6 lb a week

LooseButtons, I definitely have empathy for you. Retirement can be a struggle sometimes, but it can also be fulfilling regardless of whether or not we have "something different each day". My wife and I have been retired for 7 years, and all of us get in a routine. Unless something is unusual, my mornings are spent in exercise after breakfast. Then, in the afternoon after luch, there is work to do around our home in some form,...either outside on our land, working on computer (banking & other requirements), one of us going to the grocery store, repairing something, etc... In the evenings sometimes we crash, watch a movie or a program on the TV, read, or whatever. Generally, I play 1 round of golf per week on Tuesday. My spouse has some outside activities during the week that she is individually engaged in without me. Saturdays afternoons can be involved in household work or sometimes we do try to schedule an activity away from home. On Sundays & other weekday evenings (and sometimes during the day) we are engaged in activities with our church family. Although it seems like an unchanging routine, we know that we have enjoyed our life together, and continue to enjoy it regardless of the sometimes unchanging nature of our daily routine. Be well my friend.
