I got my water in yesterday without a second to spare. I had poured the last 16 oz glass I needed for the day but fell asleep in front of the TV. I woke up at one minute to midnight, realized what I had done, and grabbed the glass and guzzled!
Tried low carb pizza last night and ate 3 pieces without ever thinking about it. When I recorded it I discovered that 3 pieces = 1,000 calories (which might explain why I fell asleep in front of the TV). Plus that recipe is loaded with cheese and my stomach is not happy this morning.
So now I've got all weekend to redeem myself (before Monday's weigh-in). After last night's disaster, water and a salad sound pretty good right now.

You don't realize when you're eating the low carb pizza that it's loaded with cheese, but wasn't it good ????? I'm bad also, we were so tired yesterday that I went & got Papa Murphy thin crust pizza, ate 2 pieces, then ate some Tortilla chips... Pizza tasted good, but got to make it up this weekend by being GOOD !

Sophie - It was the Deep Dish Pizza Quiche recipe from this site. It is more like pizza than quiche.

Notfast - Yes it was good, but I've learned my lesson. Next time DH wants pizza I'll just have my toppings on zucchini!

Hi Buffy, so glad you got your water in the nick of time...I bet you did enjoy that pizza..Hope you wasn't up all night going...have a great
day....Bren

Nicole - Actually it was my husband coming home that woke me up - but I like your story better.

Bren - the pizza was like Margaritas, good going down but not worth it the next day.

So sorry that food didn't work out so well for you. But you deserve a lot of credit for at least trying something new. There truly are a whole lot of yummy items on various sites but unfortunately, when all is said and done, too many of them either pack more carbs than they're purported to carry, or they're a major calorie bomb! But, hey, at least you got that water in! Hope you make yourself an excellent salad in a decorative bowl or on a special plate. Enjoy it and have a good day.

Sandy - I'm always up for trying new things! The calorie overload was just plain stupidity on my part - I ate and then I checked specs. Thanks for looking out for me.

Buffy, you are something else. Drinking that water at one minute til midnight to make certain you got it all in by the end of the calendar day is so honest! You are also a lady who thrives on structure and order in your life. You're a far better person that I am! To be very honest, I would have just drank the water, past midnight or not, and considered it all in a day's work. Hooray for you!

I have made that recipe too, it is very good...but, like you said it is LOADED with calories, isn't all pizza? Getting all your water is will help even things out. Pizza dishes make me thirsty anyway. I had a similar pizza dish last night, but it is bigger (more peeps to feed), plus I made garlic cauliflower (can't taste that part...really) cheesy breadsticks to boot! Yummy!!

GG - We are too far west for Irene. As a matter of fact, we were hoping for some rain and we didn't even get that!

Pamela - Just caught your comment. Lets not go there (saying which one of us is better). You have a very different set of circumstances and I have no idea how I'd ever even begin to cope with them.
