Having Hashimotos (an autoimmune disorder-Thyroid) makes weight loss sometimes impossible. I'm not fighting cravings, or lack of want, I'm fighting my own body.
There are times I do all that I am supposed to and can't lose an ounce. Or worse, GAIN! It really makes you want to give in. Then I think, how much would I have gained if I WEREN'T trying?
So, I keep pushing. Even if it is only to not regress in all I have worked so hard on.

At my heaviest, I was pregnant and was 429lbs. And again, that weight gain was also not my fault. The smallest I have been, a yr before I gave birth. was 250. So, when I take time out to think about my current weight, 290-299.... I'm still winning the war, even if I lose footing on a few battles. So, I keep pushing!
299.0 lb Lost so far: 97.0 lb.    Still to go: 49.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
