I went on my walk tonight and realized that I've almost walked 15 miles this week. What an amazing feeling. I hope I can keep this momentum up but part of me still feels like it's unreasonable to expect to keep this tempo for a long period of time. I think that it will be important to make sure I talk a walk 5 out of 7 days. I will push for 7 but I have to do at least 5 days every week.

I've been weighing myself every day but I haven't been logging it. I'm so scared to get too excited. I still feel like this progress is going to slip right through my fingers. But the scale has been going down every day, just by ounces but those ounces add up to pounds. I'm hoping after 10 pounds I will know this is real. I can't wait to see the physical changes. That reminds me... I really need to measure myself.

that is awesome!!! You are off to great start - the trick is to keep from getting board - do you have a buddy to walk with - I know that helps when you don't always feel like going! I also try different routes and check out peoples landscaping! This is real and you are making changes :)

Unfortunately I don't have a buddy but my daughter has come with me the last two nights. I've tried to vary my route and I also check out the landscaping too. It helps because I need ideas on what to do with my lawn, haha. The problem is that I can't see too well without my glasses and I hate wearing them when I walk. They give me a headache :(
