I'm getting back on track after the roller coaster of my life for the past 2 weeks. I'm going to the GYM tonight after work. The most unfortunate part of living in the sticks is that our gym (we just RECENTLY got a nice one) only stays open until 7 pm. 7! Isn't that crazy? I don't even get off work until 5:30 everyday and by the time I drive home and get changed and get there it's usually 6 or a few minutes after. But I've decided I've got to do everything I can. I've been getting bored of walking on the track every day. I need to mix it up. Plus, I can try to go early mornings before work on the days that Savannah (my stepdaughter) has soccer practice or on Wednesdays when we have church in the evenings. I think it's a good choice. I can't wait to get started! It's closed on Sundays, so I plan to at LEAST try to go on Mondays, Tues mornings, Thurs mornings, Fridays, and Saturday mornings. If I need a break on Wednesday mornings that's okay if I go the other days. I'm thinking about taking the plunge and buying an ipod to give me an extra incentive to go in the mornings. I have a nice mp3 player but I'd LOVE to have a cute ipod full of pumping music!! What do you think? Does it help any of you?

There are rumors that new iPods will be announced September 9th. So, you might want to wait a few days to see what's coming if you are considering one. Almost everything Apple makes is very high quality stuff. I don't know what the budget is like but if you are looking at iPods, you may also want to consider the iPod Touch which is a masterpiece in it's own right.

I got an iPod touch for Christmas last year and love it! It is a little larger than my ipod Nano was but i use the applications feature. I have diabetes and I have a diabetes manager program to log my blood glocuse levels for the doctor to review. I have several other applications that I use. It also has wireless connection and I get online to log in my food diary on FS. hope this review is helpful. PS thanks for the encouraging words you left on my journal yesterday!
