I bet it is VERY hard to leave your kids for a week. Just remember that a week alone with your hubby will make your marriage even stronger thus benefiting your kids in the long run. It will make everyone appreciate each other even more. Have a blast! Come back here asap and let's get down to business!

Kelly...I am going with my mom on the cruise. My husband is keeping the kids. I definitely couldn't leave them without me or their daddy. We will break them in slowly. lol...we have never both left them at the same time. crazy huh? Tonight we are getting a babysitter for the first time, for me and him to go out. The only people they have ever stayed with is family. But we want to start going out a little more often, so we want back up since the grandparents aren't always available. Tonight is a trial night with a babysitter to see how they do. I think I worry too much. I can't help it.

don't worry about the kiddos!!! they'll be fine.. just enjoy yourself! :) you look great and the important thing is just soaking up time with the hubbs. take lots of pics! :)

It's a mother/daughter trip. A gift from my husband for my birthday! So excited. Just finished packing....can you tell I don't get out much? lol. All my vacations thus far have revolved around children. This is going to be a treat!!

Knowing your children are with hubby should make things easier for you. I know everyone will miss you as much as you miss them but that just makes the homecoming more special. This will be an interesting experience for all involved. Have a blast!

Enjoy the cruise! It is important for your children to make the transition to spending a little bit of time without Mom. They will give you lots of hugs when you return. They will bond big time with Daddy while you are away. Have fun!
