mars2kids's Journal, 25 June 2015

The past couple of days have been busy. I've been training someone at work, so the days have flown by, but now I'm exhausted. Today doesn't seem to be going as quickly as the last couple, so it could be a long one.

My son's team made it to the Championship game for ball, so that's tonight. One last game and we're done. I think a lot of the boys are just ready to be done for the season. They're all glad they made it, but are also glad it's the last game. I just hope the rain they are saying may hit will wait until we're done.

I've done a few of my new DVD's this week and they definitely make me sweat. Yesterday I did one after work and then went for a walk after dinner to get some extra steps in, so maybe that's why I'm so tired today. :) I won't have time to do a workout today because of ball, but I'll be back to it tomorrow for ab day. Hopefully I'll be more awake too.

I hope everyone has a great day!!

So DVDs are good, worth the $$?

If you have the time (35 to 60 mins) and want to work really hard, and can do high impact, then Insanity is probably better. But, for a good sweat in 25 mins. these, so far, have been great! And, they do offer a modifier on these ones for lower impact, so I've even done some of the lower impact moves and still feel like I'm working hard.

I've been spending a lot of times at my kids' ball games too, starting to remind myself of you lol. I would love to have some DVDs to fall back on but so many of them incorporate squatting maneuvers and I have bad knees :( hard to find an at home routine that is low impact. Have a good one Mary!
