Ugh...weekends. They seem to be the time when my will power goes out the window. I am so busy on them that I just find something easy to eat, because I don't have time to cook. Quick meal = fast food = mega calories = diet failure. And it is my fault because I should get a salad from one of the fast food places, but some part of cannot agree to the idea of a fast food salad. I mean how fresh can it be. lol. I am weak, I guess.

So, for the 1,000,000,000th time, this week is the week where I will make the commitment solid and stick to my diet no matter what. I am sure everyone who is reading this and who has read my prior are thinking "Yeah, right!" And with good reason.

It gets better, one weekend meal at a time. When that happens to me I try to go to a grocery store and get a prepared salad or sandwich (w/o mayo already on it, and take off all but one slice of cheese). The other place I like is subway since you can build a fresh healthy sandwich...or packing food for the day which saves money too!

Man, Wendie's salads rock. The chicken ceaser salad.. like holy crap, fuckin delicious. I would definitely recommend it. Not that I'm a good one for advice, haha. But just figured I'd throw that out there.

UGh Tony, I'm with you this weekend... for me it was being away at my in laws... potluck bbq... and yummy food my father in law makes.... I tried to be strong.. but I nose dived by mid-day Saturday...didn't run, NOTHING just cheated... :( I feel yucky about it but SO HAPPY that I am sticking solid today and hopefully we can remind each other this weekend of the way we feel RIGHT NOW!! :)

Wendy's salads, ehh? I give a shot on your advice. Mrs Jay, I know what you mean, my nose is my biggest enabler. Remembering how we feel when we stick to our diet is key, and the comparison to how bad we feel when we mess up. Thanks for the encouragement all.
